DRC1000 08802A 8.5 inch white foam buffing pad – stage 2 (medium cut)

The Patented DRC1000 Centrifugal Force buffing and polishing pads are second to none; they lead the cutting edge advances in foam pad design. During operation the machine creates centrifugal force; The DRC (Diagonally Recessed Center) forces compounds outward onto the area of the pad that does the work utilizing expensive compounds not wasting them. The DRC1000 was designed to be the most user friendly pad on the market and after years of testing by novice and professionals we are happy to say we hit our mark. We designed the DRC1000 with six features that are there when you need them, and not found together in any other pad. 1. The DRC. 2. The rounded tapered edge for accessing tight areas – a user favorite. 3. The side is a full 1 ½” of foam buffing surface. 4. The large flat working surface gives more contact and faster results. 5. The 7/8″ centering hole for top-side alignment. 6. The Recessed Velcro Backer to nest the backing plate in foam for surface protection and easy centering. White foam is for use as Stage 2 corrections on any automotive single stage or clear coat paint. Removes swirl marks and adds gloss. It will remove scratches from 2000-grit and finer sanding. This is very durable foam for compounding and polishing from automotive to gel coats. Compression is Firm; Cut is Fast to Medium. Will compress into grooves, but use caution as this foam is still a cutting grade. Remember our 8.5″ diameter DRC1000 pads work on all 6- 6 ¾” diameter backing discs, typically used on Rotary machines.
